STOMP’S North American tour was set to stop in La Crosse earlier in the month (April  21-22) but the date change was necessitated when Viterbo was notified by the troupe of an irreconcilable scheduling conflict.

The good news according to Fine Arts Center Director Michael Ranscht is that the popular off Broadway show is still coming, albeit a week later.  Existing ticket holders are being personally contacted and will be given the option to exchange tickets for the new performance dates or offered a refund.

Both performances of STOMP are virtually sold out, Ranscht said. The reschedule may open up some additional tickets, however. “This is a very popular and exciting show and we wanted La Crosse audiences to be able to experience it. Now with the change in dates, some additional tickets may be turned back and become available.”

For more information or to order tickets, contact the Viterbo box office at 608-796-3100 or visit www.viterbo.edu/tickets.

Stomp is explosive, inventive, provocative, witty, and utterly unique—an unforgettable experience for audiences of all ages. The international percussion sensation uses everything but conventional percussion instruments—matchboxes, wooden poles, brooms, garbage cans, Zippo lighters, hubcaps—to fill the stage with magnificent rhythms.
