Welcome to the Viterbo University School of Nursing

I invite you to share in the Viterbo University experience and to learn more about our outstanding programs. The School of Nursing is home to several fully accredited professional programs:

The disciplines of nursing and dietetics are based on scientific knowledge and professionals utilize the latest research to provide evidence-based care.  We incorporate these skills into our curricula to foster the development of competent professionals.

Within our programs, we emphasize health promotion and disease prevention as well as advanced technology to minimize the effects of disease and disability.  In our increasingly global and diverse community, we focus on care within the context of family, culture and community.

One unique component of our programs is emphasis on ethical decision making.  We prepare students to address the complex ethical issues they will confront in their professional careers and in their daily lives.  This values based education is the hallmark of a Viterbo University graduate.

We are proud of our legacy of excellence and envision a strong future as premiere professional programs founded on a liberal arts tradition and rooted in Franciscan values.

Explore our website to learn more about each of our programs.  Join us for an on campus visit and experience what is best about the School of Nursing - our students and faculty.  Perhaps you would like to know more about our new School of Nursing.  A statewide nursing publication recently published an article:  New Nursing Facility Exceeds Expectations.
