Criminal Justice Minor

Requirements for minor in Criminal Justice:

CRMJ 150, 12 credits of CRMJ (a minimum of six at the upper division level)

The total credits of the minor requirements are 15. Transfer course, waivers, and/or substitutions, and prerequisite courses could modify these credit totals.

Why Declare a minor in Criminal Justice:

Students from many majors would benefit in declaring a minor in Criminal Justice. For example, students in Sociology, Social Work, Psychology, or in Business majors can tailor their minor to their interest area. Students can learn about the causes of crime and delinquency, or understand the structure and function of the police, courts and corrections.  Overall, this minor is beneficial to students who wish to understand this system.
