Instructional Design and Support
Instructors can get assistance with instructional strategy and incorporating technology into their courses by contacting Cari Mathwig Ramseier, Instructional Designer, or Vicke Denniston, Instructional Design and Support Specialist. Areas of help include, but aren't limited to:
- Adapting and designing course activities for learner-centered environments (both online and face-to-face)
- Effectively choosing and using technologies for teaching and learning
- Identifying efficiencies in course management
- Curricular redesign
- Online course design
- Using Moodle
- Creating interactive learning tools
Instructors also have access to the Learning Commons, MRC 248, which features a Smartboard, collaboration space, the faculty development collection, and a media production suite for recording learning objects.
