iPad Initiative

The iPad initiative is a faculty cohort designed to explore how iPads can impact teaching and learning.  Individual students, staff, and faculty can check out an iPad for a day.  As with all library equipment, users are responsible for replacement costs associated with loss or damage.  


Reserving an iPad for classroom use: Contact Caitlyn Konze,, at least 24 hours in advance.  iPad reservations function on a first come, first served basis.

Standard Apps: The following apps are standard on the library iPads:

  • Bluefire Reader
  • Brushes for iPad
  • Calc Pro HD
  • LockDown
  • OneDrive
  • Swivel
  • Word

Requesting a new app: To request installation of a new app on library iPads, contact Caitlyn Konze, with at least 24 hours notice.  Include the name of the app as listed in the app store and a link to the specific app.
