Viterbo Bright Star Season Performance of Lula Washington Dance Theatre Postponed Due to Extreme Cold

Employees: Viterbo will adjust its summer operating hours from Monday, May 20–Friday, July 26. During this time, offices will be expected to remain open Monday–Friday from 7:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m. The university will revert to its standard operating hours of 8 a.m.–5 p.m. on Monday, July 29. From May 20-July 26, employees may have, with department supervisor approval, the option of flexible scheduling during these weeks or the option of working the standard operating hours, as long as each office remains open from 7:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m. and standard services remain available.
Bookstore Reminder: Rental books can be brought back any time before Monday, May 13. This is also a great time to check your purchased books for buy back. The bookstore will be open special hours on Saturday from 8 a.m.–1 p.m. for rental check-ins.
A retirement reception for Linda Schams, biology, will be held Tuesday, May 7 from 3-5 p.m. in the Reinhart Center Board Room.
A retirement reception for Vickie Schaefer, education, will be held from 2:30–3:45 p.m. Thursday, May 9 in the Reinhart Center Board Room. Dessert will be served.
Reminder: All library materials are due at the end of the semester on Friday, May 10.
Gently Used School Supply Drive for Nepal happening until May 8. Needed are pens, pencils, paper, crayons, colored pencils, calculators, along with any other school supplies you would like to donate. If you are going to “toss it,” give it. Boxes are located in the lobbies of all buildings on campus The drive will support Open World Cause.
The 6th Annual Employee Picnic will be held on Friday, May 10 from 11:30 a.m.–1 p.m. in Assisi Courtyard. Rain location will be the FAC Lobby. Join your co-workers for Kentucky Derby inspired lunch with music, games and fun. Wear your best derby hat for a chance at prizes. If you have not done so yet, RSVP via the email link you recieved last week.
All employees are invited to participate in the 28th Annual Sister Doctor Dean Jean Golf Scramble Tuesday, May 14 at Valley High Golf Club in Hokah, Minn. The event begins with a shotgun start at 4:30 p.m. All skill levels welcome. Put together a foursome of friends, colleagues, or strangers and register with Jean Moore, FSPA, by email or 608-317-0719. Be prepared to give info of your area(s) of participation. Golf and electric cart is $20, golf only is $10. Dinner is $10 tax and tip included. Pay at the course on the day of the event. Dinner is chicken breast, potatoes, beans, pasta salad with garbanzo beans, and rolls. There will be hole prizes for longest drive, closest to the pin, longest putt.
