Students in Viterbo’s Management 374 class are hosting Furrfest in Assisi Courtyard from 10 a.m.–1 p.m. Saturday, April 21. The event is designed to increase pet adoptions and to raise money for the Coulee Region Humane Society. It will feature an agility course for the pets, an adoption information booth, cost talk, a food truck, and people are welcome to bring their pets. Cost is $5 or an item from the Coulee Region Humane Society’s wish list. All proceeds benefit the Coulee Region Humane Society.
April is Child Abuse Prevention Month: A collection jar for donations for the La Crosse Family Collaborative is located in the School of Nursing Building first floor office. A statistic courtesy of the Viterbo Social Work Club: Approximately 30% of abused and neglected children will later abuse their own children, continuing the cycle.
