Noon Grades for the Fall 2014 term are due to be submitted in VitNet. There are many processes dependent on all grades being finalized in the system. Any late grades will delay those processes.

As in prior years, Viterbo continues its efforts to conserve energy. The holiday break period is an excellent time to continue procedures and conservation measures directed to lowering our energy consumption. To that end, consider the following:

  • Viterbo is officially closed Wednesday, Dec. 24–Thursday, Jan. 1 for the Christmas and New Year’s Holiday break. The set point/thermostat temperature during that period will be lowered to 65 degrees. Employees who will be present at work during portions of the break should dress accordingly.
  • For the remainder of the heating season, the set point/thermostat temperature will be 69 degrees. Of course, temperatures may vary in different locations within our facilities, but the intention is to minimally reduce our settings to realize savings and promote stewardship. In addition, we would ask that you refrain from using portable heaters, which consume significant amounts of energy and represent safety hazards.
  • Finally, please make every effort to conserve energy in other ways by ensuring that lights are turned off when offices and classrooms are vacant, by ensuring that facility exterior doors are not held or propped in an open position, by ensuring that storm windows are closed, and by unplugging refrigerators and coffee makers when not in use.
