Seventy-nine undergraduate students, 30 master’s degree students, and four associate degree students will be candidates for graduation at Viterbo University’s winter commencement ceremony at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 15 in the Fine Arts Center Main Theatre.
James (Jim) Salmo has been named vice president for advancement at Viterbo University effective in January. Salmo was chosen to lead fundraising and benefactor relation efforts at Viterbo, succeeding Wendell Snodgrass who resigned in August.
The Viterbo University Fine Arts Center has added a performance by the Celtic music group Cherish the Ladies at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 17 in the Fine Arts Center Main Theatre.

Tom Thibodeau’s Homelessness Class will spend their annual night outside tomorrow evening in Assisi Court to raise awareness for the plight of the homeless. The Viterbo community is invited to visit and show their support for the homeless members of the community.

V-Hawks for Life will host a tie blanket event Thursday, Feb. 26 at 5 p.m. in Clare Apartments first floor lounge. Food and entertainment will be provided as participants make the blankets. Everyone is welcome to bring their ID and to make tie blankets for the Warming Center and Birthright. There is enough fabric to make more than 40 blankets.

Gluten-Free Interactive Cooking Classes: Viterbo nutrition/dietetic students and interns will be conducting interactive cooking classes to inform those with Celiac disease, wheat allergy, and non-celiac gluten sensitivity on healthy, delicious food alternatives and how to prepare them. There are four sessions for community members to participate in for a fee of $10 each session.
