7 p.m. Viterbo Student Dietetics Association hosts Sue Zbornick, a 1983 Viterbo Dietetics graduate, who is currently a practicing accredited nutritionist working and living in Sydney, Australia – School of Nursing Buidling room 195. She will be speaking about her experiences treating eating disorders and obesity as well as her book, “Find Your Happetite.” Everyone is welcome to attend.
All students and employees are invited to attend and sample the 15 chili varieties entered in this year’s Honors Program Chili Cook-off Tuesday, Feb. 17 from 11 a.m.–1 p.m. in the School of Nursing Building Lobby. Admission is $1 or a non-perishable food items. All proceeds benefit local food insecurity prevention efforts.
Employees are invited to attend a university forum with President Rick Artman Tuesday, Feb. 17 at 3:30 p.m. in the Fine Arts Center Recital Hall. The primary topic of the forum will be a review of the 2015–16 budget guidelines approved by the Board of Trustees Jan. 26. New employees are encouraged to attend and will be welcomed the Viterbo community.

Call for Papers: Viterbo’s World Languages and Cultures Fifth Annual Latin American and Latino Studies Collaborative Workshop: Faculty members from all disciplines are invited to submit individual papers, presentations, panel or roundtable (three papers and one commentator, 500 word summary of the presentation) for consideration for this April 11 event. Spring Break Service Trip Information Session: An information session for the Ohio and South Dakota spring break service trips will be held Tuesday, Feb. 17 at 6 p.m. in Murphy Center 378. The South Dakota service trip is to the Cheyenne River Reservation, working with Lakota youth. The deadline to apply through Campus ministry is Wednesday, Feb. 18. Spring Break trips will take place during the week of March 8–14.

Gluten-Free Interactive Cooking Classes: Viterbo nutrition/dietetic students and interns will be conducting interactive cooking classes to inform those with Celiac disease, wheat allergy, and non-celiac gluten sensitivity on healthy, delicious food alternatives and how to prepare them. There are four sessions for community members to participate in for a fee of $10 each session.
