The Viterbo University theatre and music theatre department will present the inaugural New Works Festivalon Friday, Jan. 25–Saturday, Jan. 26 and Friday, Feb. 1–Saturday, Feb. 2 at the Weber Center for the Performing Arts. All performances will begin at 7:30 p.m.
Civil rights activist and author David Dennis Sr., will present the keynote address “What Does it Mean to be an American?” at the La Crosse Community Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration at 7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 21 in the Viterbo University Fine Arts Center Main Theatre.
The outstanding sibling piano quintet The 5 Browns will perform at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 16 in the Viterbo University Fine Arts Center Main Theatre.

11 a.m.–2 p.m. Art Club Empty Bowls Chili Lunch Fundraiser – Fine Arts Center Hospitality Suite. $10 gets you a homemade ceramic bowl to fill with chili, and a cup of coffee or hot chocolate. You get to keep your handmade bowl. All proceeds will go to the Hunger Task Force.

The Viterbo men’s and women’s bowling teams have brought the Salvation Army's Angel Giving Tree to the campus this holiday season. The giving tree is locate in the School of Nursing Building. Choose a child's informational tag off the tree and choose a gift to purchase. Gifts should be wrapped or in a large enough bag with the child's name tag taped/stapled to the gift itself. Place the gift back under the tree and the bowlers will deliver the gifts or take the gift to the Salvation Army by Dec. 8.
