The performance by Lula Washington Dance Theatre, which was scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 29 in the Viterbo University Fine Arts Center Main Theatre, has been postponed due to the extremely cold weather.
Celebrate the bombastic 1980s with the rock music anthems of the decade as the 10th anniversary tour of Rock of Ages comes to the Viterbo University Fine Arts Center Main Theatre at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 6.

Season tickets are on sale now for the 2019–20 season at the Fine Arts Center. Full-time, permanent part-time, and retired employees as well as members of the FSPA receive an employee discount on up to two season ticket packages. The deadline to order is Friday, Aug. 9.

 

The Viterbo Latin American and Latina/o Studies program has been recognized by the Council of the Sephardi and Oriental Communities in Jerusalem for the inclusion of Jewish Sephardi themes as part of its academic research, activities, and events. The letter sent by the Council’s president, Abraham Haim, states that Viterbo is the only higher education institution in the region presenting this topic to the community in a collective pedagogical effort coming from faculty and students. The recognition consists of a Diploma of Appreciation and Gratitude, which will be presented this fall at Viterbo campus in an official ceremony.

 

Viterbo’s spring commencement ceremony will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 11 at the La Crosse Center. Note the time, which is different than previous years.

 

Bookstore Reminder: Rental books can be brought back any time before Monday, May 13. This is also a great time to check your purchased books for buy back. The bookstore will be open special hours on Saturday from 8 a.m.–1 p.m. for rental check-ins.

 

A retirement reception for Vickie Schaefer, education, will be held from 2:30–3:45 p.m. Thursday, May 9 in the Reinhart Center Board Room. Dessert will be served.

 

Reminder: All library materials are due at the end of the semester on Friday, May 10.

 

Gently Used School Supply Drive for Nepal happening until May 8. Needed are pens, pencils, paper, crayons, colored pencils, calculators, along with any other school supplies you would like to donate. If you are going to “toss it,” give it. Boxes are located in the lobbies of all buildings on campus The drive will support Open World Cause.
