Make the holiday season safer for everyone. Law enforcement agencies throughout Wisconsin will mobilize from Dec. 12–20 to save lives and prevent injuries with the “Booze and Belts” traffic safety campaign. Roadways are dangerous this time of year. Consistent safety belt use is the single most effective way during a crash to protect against being ejected from a vehicle or thrown around violently inside it (and possibly hitting another vehicle occupant). Although progress in preventing drunken driving has been made, too many people are still being killed or injured because of the irresponsible decision to drive while impaired. Message from Viterbo’s ATOD Task Force.
