“500th Anniversary of the Reformation” Lunch Event Sept. 28

Viterbo community members are invited to attend the lunchtime presentation and panel discussion “500th Anniversary of the Reformation” at noon Thursday, Sept. 28 in the Fine Arts Center Lobby.

The event will feature Brad Gregory, professor of history at Notre Dame University and author of The Unintended Reformation: How a Religious Revolution Secularized Society, and a panel of Viterbo faculty members Larry Harwood, history and philosophy, Dale Krageschmidt, business, Laura Nettles, FSPA, religious studies, Bill Reese, religious studies, and Eric Weinberg, history and philosophy.

This event, held in conjunction with the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, is sponsored in honor of the late Allen B. Birchler, Presbyterian pastor and University of Wisconsin-La Crosse Emeritus Professor, and by the Viterbo religious studies department.
