Campus Ministry Lenten Schedule

“Spring means a lot of things—including cleaning. Once the snow melts off our Wisconsin landscape, we need to clean up our backyards. That means we are going to get dirty, but that’s the only way to get the job done. On Ash Wednesday, Feb. 14, Viterbo joins the rest of the Christian world and enters into the season called “Lent,” a truly holy springtime. Ashes are rubbed into our foreheads and we get “dirty” only to remind us that there’s work to do: reviewing our use of food, examining our sense of awe and wonder at God’s magnificent world, and reflecting on our sensitivity to people who are in need of our help. So let’s get started!  Begin with the Sacred Scriptures and the advice of Pope Francis: “Let your ears hear God’s Word; let it travel to your heart and may it find a way to your hands to perform God’s work.”

Peace and All Good!
