Fat Pat's BBQ Food Truck from Spring Grove, Minn. will be at Lincoln Middle School today, June 5. The truck is scheduled to be parked on 9th St. in front of the school from 11 a.m.–1:30 p.m. The menu will be pulled pork $7, brisket sandwich $9, three side options each $2, Spring Grove Pop and water. Tips will go to stock the mini food pantry on the front lawn of Lincoln Middle School throughout the summer.

Dietetics and biology undergraduate research students at Viterbo University are searching for adults ages 18-65 to participate in a 12-week lacto-ovo vegetarian diet for an intervention study. This study aims to evaluate metabolic parameters (fasting blood glucose, lipid panel, body composition and metabolic rate) and the gut microbiota. Participants will learn about their personal metabolic parameters and gut microbiota composition and will receive two $50 Kwik Trip gift cards for their participation.
