LA CROSSE, Wis. - Dave Donarski's Aquinas Blugolds defeated Prairie du Chien 39-20 in the championship game of the V-Hawk Conference Tournament on Tuesday night. The Blugolds finished the summer league season with a 10-2 record and the Black Hawks finished 8-2 in a very competitive summer season for our youngest division.

LA CROSSE, Wis. - Aquinas High School finished undefeated in the Viterbo Summer League and capped the summer season with a 58-23 win over Onalaska in the championship game of the Cardinal Conference. The Blugolds, led by Coach Dave Donarski, are continuing to build after finishing as runners up in the Division 4 Wisconsin State Tournament. Congratulations to the Blugolds!

NSAA Winter and Spring Scholar-AthletesMADISON, S.D. – On Saturday, the North Star Athletic Association announced the NSAA Scholar-Athletes for the 2017 spring academic season. A total of 63 student-athletes from Viterbo made the list, bringing their total for the year to 120 NSAA Scholar-Athletes.

LA CROSSE, Wis. – Viterbo University Director of Athletics Barry Fried announced on Wednesday that Brian Lewis has been named the V-Hawks' head baseball coach. After serving the 2017 season as the interim, Lewis officially becomes the ninth head coach in V-Hawks history since the program started in 1988.

LA CROSSE, Wis. – In 2010, John Metelko was hired to build the Viterbo University track and field program and now he will attempt a similar venture in his home state of Indiana. Metelko has announced he has accepted a position as the assistant cross country and track and field coach with his alma mater, University of Evansville.

2016-17 Athletics Honors Banquet ProgramLA CROSSE, Wis. – The Viterbo University Athletics Department held its annual year-end banquet on Friday, recognizing the accomplishments of their student-athletes. This year, 39 seniors were recognized and the department also awarded its Male and Female Athletes of the Year along with the Male and Female Senior Scholar-Athlete awards.
