Viterbo University to Present Operas The Telephone and The Medium Oct. 7-8

Viterbo University music students will perform the operas The Telephone and The Medium by Gian Carlo Menotti at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 7 and at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 8 in the Weber Center for the Performing Arts.

[Women's Soccer] Breitbach and Ferm Earn NSAA Weekly Honors

MADISON, S.D. –The North Star Athletic Association Women's Soccer Player-of-the-Week No. 4 edition was announced Tuesday by the conference office.  Abby Breitbach of Viterbo (Wis.) was selected to the Defensive Player-of-the-Week, while her teammate Isabelle Ferm was chosen to the Offensive Player-of-the-Week.

Viterbo University’s Bright Star Season performance of Tuesdays with Morrie starring Jamie Farr from TV’s M*A*S*H, scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 27, has been cancelled due to some of the cast and production team not receiving work visas to work in the U.S.

[Women's Soccer] Viterbo Defeats St. Ambrose for First Time Since 2008

La Crosse, Wis. – After playing 120 minutes of scoreless soccer on Wednesday, the Viterbo University women's soccer team came out on a mission to score. Mission accomplished as the V-Hawks scored twice to defeat St. Ambrose University 2-0.

Celebrate St. Francis Week Sept. 30–Oct. 6

The St. Francis Week Committee, a group with representation from student affairs, religious studies and campus ministry, invites the Viterbo community to celebrate the university’s Franciscan tradition through a week of activities designed to share the spirit of St. Francis and St. Clare.The annual St. Francis Day Mass (new location in San Damiano Chapel), a free lunch, and a Pet Blessing will still occur Wednesday, Oct. 4, but there will also be new additional offerings. To highlight a few, consider signing up for Service Saturday and Franny Fest; or participate in the Franciscan lecture, bread distribution to the community, or the day of contemplation.The schedule of events is below.
