Viterbo University and Wisconsin Technical College System Announce New Nursing Program Agreement

Registered nurses with a two-year degree from any of Wisconsin’s 16 technical colleges can fully apply those earned credits toward a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree at Viterbo through a new agreement between the university and the Wisconsin Technical College System.

[Women's Basketball] V-Hawks Drop Showcase Finale to Clarke

LA CROSSE, Wis. – The Viterbo Women's Basketball team lost to Clarke University 76-53 in the NAIA Showcase at R.W. Beggs Sr. Gymnasium on Sunday. The V-Hawks were 7-for-12 from the free throw line in the game. 

[Women's Basketball] Nilssen Records Double-Double in Home Win Over St. Ambrose

LA CROSSE, Wis. – The Viterbo Women's Basketball team picked up their first win of the season after defeating St. Ambrose 66-55 at R.W. Beggs Sr. Gymnasium on Saturday night. Alyssa Nilssen (SO/Wilson, Wis.) recorded her second double-double of the season with 19 points and 11 rebounds. 

[Volleyball] V-Hawks Sweep Bellevue for Third-Straight NSAA Volleyball Championship

LA CROSSE, Wis. – #1 seed Viterbo University defeated #3 seed Bellevue University 3-0 (25-20, 25-15, 25-20) in the North Star Athletic Association Championship Game at R.W. Beggs Sr. Gymnasium on Saturday. The win gives the V-Hawks their third consecutive NSAA Championship. Viterbo has won 11 straight games and 64 consecutive games at home. The 2018 senior class finished their collegiate careers without a loss to a conference opponent (56-0 including postseason).

[Men's Basketball] Hoeth and Long-Range Shooting Help Viterbo Take Down Edgewood

LA CROSSE, Wis. – The Viterbo Men's Basketball team hit nine three-point shots to defeat Edgewood College 71-52 on Saturday at R.W. Beggs Sr. Gymnasium. The V-Hawks held a 22-point lead in the second half and never trailed in the game. Five Viterbo players finished with double figures.

[Volleyball] V-Hawks Take Down Saints in Semifinal to Advance to Saturday's Championship

LA CROSSE, Wis. – #1 seed Viterbo University defeated #5 seed Presentation College 3-0 (25-16, 25-20, 25-17) in the semifinal of the North Star Athletic Association Volleyball Conference Postseason Tournament. The V-Hawks have now won ten straight matches and their last 19 sets. Viterbo advance to the championship game to face the #3 seed Bellevue University, who knocked off #2 seed University of Jamestown in five sets.

MADISON, S.D. – The North Star Athletic Association announced that six Viterbo volleyball players earned First Team All-Conference awards on Thursday. Viterbo also brought home four individual postseason awards, including Natalie Geidel (SR/West Bend, Wis.), who earned NSAA Volleyball Most Valuable Player.
