Keynote Address by Teddie Potter PhD, RN, FAAN
Better than a Robot? Prove It!
Nurses frequently struggle to communicate the value of their unique contribution to the interprofessional team and to healing. That is a grave concern in this day of growing technological sophistication and artificial intelligence. What can nurses do that robots will never be able to do? Nurses must be prepared to answer that question.
Dr. Potter’s BASE of Nursing Practice, Partnership-Based Health Care, and The Tao of Health Care: A Model to Promote Understanding focus research, teaching, and practice on those aspects of nursing that are absolutely irreplaceable.
